Instructions
- Prepare the dressing by whisking together mayonnaise, sour cream, and ranch seasoning in a medium bowl until smooth and well combined. Set aside.
- In a large glass trifle bowl or clear serving dish, create your first layer with half of the crumbled cornbread.
- Spread half of the dressing mixture over the cornbread layer, ensuring even coverage.
- Layer half of the corn, black beans, tomatoes, bell pepper, and red onion over the dressing.
- Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese and crumbled turkey bacon over the vegetable layer.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients in the same order: cornbread, dressing, vegetables, cheese, and turkey bacon.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld together.
- Just before serving, garnish with sliced green onions and fresh parsley.
Notes
This salad tastes better when made a day in advance as the cornbread has time to absorb the dressing flavors while maintaining its structure. Perfect for make-ahead preparation.
