- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. This helps the flavors meld together and ensures a smoother final texture.
- Pour the chilled mixture into a shallow freezer-safe container. Cover with a lid or plastic wrap and freeze for 2-3 hours, stirring every 30 minutes to break up ice crystals.
- After the last stir, let the frozen yogurt freeze completely for another 2-3 hours. When ready to serve, let it sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes to soften slightly before scooping.
Notes
Use full-fat Greek yogurt for creamiest results. Stir every 30 minutes during freezing to prevent iciness. Add mix-ins like chocolate chips or nuts after first hour of freezing. Store in airtight container for up to 2 months.
