- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the trimmed green beans with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika if using. Toss thoroughly until all beans are evenly coated.
- Spread the green beans in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they're not overcrowded for optimal crisping.
- Roast for 12-15 minutes, then remove from oven and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese. Return to oven for 3-5 more minutes until cheese is melted and golden.
- Drizzle with fresh lemon juice, toss gently, and serve immediately while hot and crispy.
Notes
For the crispiest results, make sure green beans are completely dry before tossing with oil. Use freshly grated Parmesan instead of pre-shredded for better melting. Don't overcrowd the baking sheet to allow proper moisture evaporation.
