- Let the sauce cool completely before using on your pizza dough. This prevents a soggy crust and allows flavors to develop further.
Notes
Use quality tomatoes like San Marzano for best flavor. Don't overcook - 15-20 minutes is perfect. Sauce tastes better the next day and can be refrigerated for 5 days or frozen for 3 months.
